The 27th annual Shupp Classic Golf Tournament is set for Saturday August 9th at Rose City Golf Course. First tee time is 12 pm! Get your team together!

The 27th annual Shupp Classic Golf Tournament is set for Saturday August 9th at Rose City Golf Course.

2025 Shupp Classic
Shupp Classic was established in 1998 with the first tournament (The Shupp Invitational) at Golf City in Corvallis Oregon. After the first year the tournament became an instant Classic with a 1 shot victory by Andy Shupp over Buck Kozol. Although there were only 12 participants, the afterparty was celebrated with a keg of beer and nobody remembers the rest of the night.

Joe Shupp Award
About Joe
My brother Joe was not only my brother, he was one of my best friends. He was a 4 time Shupp Classic Champion. Unfortunately, Joe passed away from cancer in June of 2021. He looked forward to playing in the Classic every year and competing against the infamous Green Dragons and the rest of the Shupp Classic field. Joe's competitive nature was 2nd to none. One of his traditions was to play the course the day before the tournament and take notes of the layout, pin placements, and any other important information on the course to gain a competitive edge. I miss Joe everyday, but he would be happy to know the Shupp Classic golf tournament tradition continues on!
